Helen corning is Nancy Drew's friend that is nearly 3 years older than her. She is related to Aunt Rosemary and Miss Flora. Throughout the story she tries her best to help Nancy solve the mystery at her great grandmothers home. |
Aunt Rosemary(Mrs. Hayes)
Aunt rosemary is described as a tall and slender woman with greying hair. She has lived with Miss flora at Twin Elms since she became a widow. Ever since she moved there many mysterious things have occured. Aunt Rosemary is a very careful woman when it comes to her Mother, Miss Flora. She watches out for her and makes sure not to worry her. |
Miss Flora(Ms. Corning)
Miss Flora is described as a slender, frail looking woman with snow-white hair. She is the owner of the Twin Elms Mansion and is also Helen's great grandmother. Since she is very old, she gets very frightened and worried easily. Because of this, the rest of the characters try not to tell her much about the mystery. |
Carson Drew (Mr. Drew)
Nancys Father, Mr. Drew, isn't described when it comes to the way he looks, but he is a lawyer. In the begining of the story when Nancy was telling him about the warning she recived from Nathan Gomber, he would joke around and wouldn't take anything seriously. |
Hannah Gruen
Hannah Gruen is the Drew family's housekeeper. She is like a second mother to Nancy Drew. She has been there since Nancy's mother passed away when she was young. Hannah is a very protective member of their family and she is always giving Nancy good advice. |
Nathan Gomber
Nathan gomber is a short and thin man that seems to be about fourty years of age. He is the man that came to warn Nancy about her father being in grave danger. Coincidentally, he was also trying to buy Twin Elms from Miss Flora. He is very conceited and obnoxious in Nancy's opinion. |
